Well established business based in Milton Keynes are looking for an experienced 3rd line Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT department. Within this dynamic role you will provide expert-level support for IT infrastructure, including network design, cloud service management (Microsoft 365 and Azure), server and storage administration (VMWare, Windows Server, SAN), desktop and virtual desktop delivery (Microsoft SCCM, Citrix ADS VDI), email system management (Microsoft Exchange), application deployment, backup and restoration (Veritas NetBackup, Azure services), and patch deployment. You will leverage your strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis expertise to troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement IT best practices and adhere to ITIL framework standards. The offers a healthy balance between high level support tasks and project work.
We are looking for a well-rounded engineer who enjoys the challenge of in-house IT and making a real difference to the stakeholders and users. You will likely have a broad skills set with a focus on Azure and Citrix. Networking knowledge would be beneficial as would good storage experience.
This is a hybrid role based onsite 3 days a week.
